Well, i apologize for being so ridiculously lax on the whole update/blog side of things.  It's been years of slogging away - a remarkably steep learning curve, but the first chapter of the game is nearly ready, only an intro and outro and some fine tuning before it's ready.  having said that, i'm in mississippi at the moment and will not be back to my proper 'work' computer till christmas/new year.  So more damn waiting

Actually, I just thought of one update to announce:  I do in fact have a playable alpha build available, if anyone would like to be a guinea pig - just send me an email and i'll send you the link.  it's complete save for the intro/outro sequences, the finished musical score and a couple of little loops - certainly though, i need some playtesters tohelp me asctertain whether the thing's workable/enjoyable.
